The Director, Client Success is an individual contributor role responsible for developing and maintaining excellent relationships with existing health plan, employer, and/or health system clients to increase revenue, drive product utilization and retain clients.

Responsibilities:


  • Advisor to key health plan client:

  • Represent MDLIVE and serve as lead liaison between a key health plan client and MDLIVE product and marketing teams

  • Ongoing, detail-oriented relationship management with client decision makers including C-suite executives; ability to navigate complex organizational structure to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally

  • Create, customize and deliver compelling presentations that demonstrate value of MDLIVE services, program performance and potential growth opportunities specific to product evolution and member engagement.

  • Partner with marketing team on data analysis to / furnish of recommendations of strategic marketing and product plans including approaches most likely to drive key performance metrics for client.

  • Maintain, monitor and facilitate renewal contracting process

  • Maintain active renewals in Salesforce

  • Lead meetings onsite, offsite and virtually

  • Create and execute train the trainer programs to respective channel sales teams

  • Client Success Executive for employer / mid-market business segment:

  • Manage complex, consultative sales and client engagement processes for employer, mid-size health plan and health system segment of the business

  • Exceed annual revenue targets by developing and securing new revenue opportunities within existing clients (e.g. upsells, additional member segments, renewals, etc.)

  • Exceed annual client engagement quotas specific to utilization

  • Coordinate with internal account management teams to ensure client satisfaction and operational efficiencies

  • Deliver compelling presentations that demonstrate client value

  • Manipulate, interpret, and present data analysis to furnish recommendations for both high-level marketing plans and virtual care strategy

  • Lead oversight of customized promotions that fit health plan, employer and/or health system specific needs and regulations

  • Forecast pull through sales projections and maintain active pipeline updates in Salesforce

  • Lead meetings onsite, offsite and virtually to demonstrate product capabilities to clients

  • Attend trade shows and industry events as designated

  • Willing to travel up to 50%

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's in Business Administration or related field

  • 3-5 years' experience in strategic account management, sales or business development in the healthcare industry

  • Understanding of health plans and/or health systems from end to end: care management, claims, networks, marketing, clinical, 270/271 eligibility, claims, clearinghouses, credentialing, networks, marketing, provider onboarding and training, EMR/EHR (Epic, Cerner, MEDITECH,AthenaHealth) interoperability, ACO environments, IDN and related relationship structures

  • Experience working with physicians and C- suite executives

  • Ability to develop and interpret sales forecasts for partners, including a strong facility with Excel

  • Hands on, strong team player, and fully accountable for delivering agreed-upon performance metrics.

  • Ability to develop presentations to build a sales story

  • Proven ability to close sales opportunities with Health Plans, Employers and/or Health Systems

  • Health Plan, Employer and/or Health System product understanding (benefit models, industry norms, regulations)

  • Experience with financial modeling specific to proposals

  • Experience with product demonstrations to senior executives

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills

  • The ability to present to a variety of audiences

  • Experience and high proficiency in Microsoft Office products

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
