Role Description:

Arcadis is looking for a talented and detail-oriented BIM Modeler to join our team for a significant heavy civil rail tunnel construction project in New York/New Jersey. The BIM Modeler will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and coordinating 3D models, ensuring that all design elements are accurately represented and integrated into the overall project.

Role Accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for various project components, including structural, geotechnical, and MEP systems.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to gather design information and ensure models reflect the latest design updates.
• Perform clash detection and resolution within the models, collaborating with team members to address any conflicts and ensure project accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of model changes and updates, ensuring traceability and compliance with project standards.
• Follow established BIM standards and protocols to ensure model consistency and quality across all deliverables.
• Conduct regular quality checks on models to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Create visualizations and renderings of the model to assist in project presentations and stakeholder engagement.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior team members on BIM tools and practices as needed.
• Stay updated on BIM software advancements and tools, applying new techniques to enhance modeling efficiency.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in BIM modelling, preferably in heavy civil construction or rail projects.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks). Experience with modeling complex geometries and large-scale projects is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues related to model integration and design conflicts.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $130,000- $170,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
