Job Profile Summary

The Organizational Effectiveness Lead is a member of the Wealth Management Digital Client and Partner Experience (DCPX) Optimization team. Representing a large portion of capital funding, DCPX must operate highly cross-functionally throughout multiple business units and regions. It depends on the ability of leaders and teams to collaborate deftly along these cross-sections while balancing multiple priorities.

Yet DCPX is also one of the least-mature organizations within Wealth Management. Thus, dedicated and continuous attention to enhancing effective Ways of Working for leaders and teams is needed to ensure the DCPX operating model can continue to mature and reach its maximum potential.

The Organizational Effectiveness Lead 's primary outcome is to enable and promote a collaborative and accountable operating model that enables the DCPX product teams and their cross-functional counterparts to work together effectively to improve delivery, predictability, and overall value of the digital initiatives they commit to undertaking. The Organizational Effectiveness Lead role models servant leadership, collaboration, effective communication, and accountability.

Major Duties

Overview

The Organizational Effectiveness Lead will craft and implement strategies for improving Ways of Working for DCPX's leaders and teams within the digital product operating model. With support from senior DCPX leadership, HR business partners, and talent development, the Organizational Effectiveness Lead will monitor DCPX's collaboration competency across functions and business units, identify areas for enhancing collaborative performance across and within teams, and then design and facilitate ongoing interventions to improve it. The organizational effectiveness lead will plan and facilitate team building and culture based activities across DCPX as needed.

The Organizational Effectiveness Lead will accomplish its primary outcomes by:


  • Spearheading the evolution of and training for consistent Ways of Working for product teams across the whole product lifecycle that enable more effective digital delivery.

  • Developing playbooks, tools, and coaching practices focused on improving collaborative efficacy for more than 20 leaders and more than 25 teams across multiple functions within DCPX.

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of multi-rater processes for Capability teams to receive collaborative-performance feedback and assessment from across their stakeholders within NT.

  • Create and maintain consistent job descriptions, job hierarchies, promotion criteria and performance-review frameworks tailored for DCPX's needs and consistent with the requirements of the broader Wealth Management organization and Enterprise as a whole.

  • Working with DCPX to ensure that performance reviews are comprehensive and constructive and enable employee growth and development.

  • Overseeing an extended onboarding process that enables new DCPX Partners to become effective in their new jobs and teams and connected within the organization within ~4 months of joining.

  • Conducting ongoing stay interviews with at least 3 Partners per week (so that every Partner has at least one stay interview a year) to understand drivers of Partner retention, pinpoint emerging problem spots in collaborative efficacy within DCPX, and continuously learn about what is hindering collaborative performance. Conducting offboarding interviews to further add to organizational learning.

  • Assessing and forecasting specific collaborative-performance needs through surveys, interviews with Partners, focus groups, and/or consultation with managers and senior leadership.

  • Developing and implementing metrics and tracking mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of collaborative-performance-enhancement initiatives and to provide lifecycle insights from onboarding and retention practices to offboarding.

  • Designing and conducting workshops and off/onsites to facilitate improvement of collaboration efficacy among leadership and enhance alignment toward organizational-effectiveness objectives.

  • Planning and executing of culture focused events throughout the year.

  • Advocating for a culture of continuous improvement and excellence throughout the organization.
