Description: Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of middle school students with special needs? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
Communicate effectively with families and collaborate with school staff.
Complete all necessary special education paperwork according to state regulations.
Conduct IEP meetings and write progress reports.
Collect and analyze student data.
Provide instruction in a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education.
Valid Massachusetts Teaching License in Special Education (Moderate or Severe Disabilities).
Proven experience working with students with special needs.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
About the Role:
Full-time position with Monday-Friday hours.
Work in substantially separate classrooms designed for students with social emotional disabilities or Autism.
Collaborate with paraprofessionals to provide support to students.
