As a member of the US Service Center Finance team, this position is responsible for general accounting functions and analysis of accounts, month end close and account reconciliation activities

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Various month end procedures and entries.

  • Play a major role in the month-end close, year-end reporting, monthly reporting, and audit procedures

  • Direct accounting support for US Service Center branches

  • Perform various balance sheet reconciliations including inter-company reconciliations

  • Accounting & audit support of warehouse physical inventory counts

  • Accurately and timely complete monthly bank and cash reconciliations

  • Cross train and serve as back up for other accounting duties

  • Review and analyze financial data, preparation of various ad hoc financial reports

  • Assist in the annual budget process – compilation, analysis and reporting

  • Preparation of year end schedules to support corporate reporting and audit requirements

  • Assist with both internal and external audits

  • Special projects as required

  • Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned

 EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:


  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Very strong working knowledge of Excel required

  • Proficiency with ERP systems & Cognos based reporting

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required

  • 3+ years prior experience at an Accountant level

  • Ability to administer effective communication skills across all levels of the organization and work well under pressure and deadlines

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills required, very high attention to detail

  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task with minimal supervision

  • Problem solving skills and the ability to take command and ownership of projects, driving them to timely, efficient, and accurate completion.

  • Ability to multitask on projects requiring broad skill sets, while maintaining high standards of work in a fast-paced environment, with competing priorities.

The  pay range for this position is $62,570-98,780. If you are hired, your base pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.  In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.  Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base pay range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued wage growth.”
