Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Senior Cloud Developer, .
Position type: Contract with possible extension. Duration: 12+ Months Location: Minneapolis Minnesota, 55437 (Hybrid)
As a Senior Cloud Developer, you will:
Develop solid and supportable modular designs for data streaming, cloud transformation/migration, and API product development in support of critical applications.
Develop data APIs and data delivery services that support operational and analytical applications for the client's internal business operations, customers, and partners.
Create and support data-centric products that encompass multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies.
Analyze technical information and produce quality software.
Initiate collaboration with teammates.
Offer creative solutions to overcome obstacles.
Work within automated testing and CI/CD processes.
Become an expert on the products we build.
Document solutions in both written and diagram form and communicate effectively across teams.
Leverage coding standards to ensure that development meets design goals and business needs.
Identify technical issues, articulate their impact, and communicate the need for prioritization.
Maintain proactive communication with both team members and leadership.
Work collaboratively with vendors.
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working with multiple disparate systems.
Experience in cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/Google), with a preference for AWS.
Proficiency in Python, Java, shell scripting (Bash and PowerShell), and SQL.
Experience working with streaming data and data extraction from various databases (Oracle, DB2, MySQL, etc.).
Experience deploying and managing infrastructures based on Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
Experience with scalable data extraction tools is a plus.
Familiarity with Kafka, Aurora, AWS Glue, and Redshift is a plus.
Understanding of data engineering, real-time streaming and/or event-driven architectures, and JSON parsing.
Experience with automating application deployment, continuous delivery, and continuous integration (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, etc.).
Experience building microservices and API architectures.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Flexibility and a passion for learning and collaborating with colleagues.
A strong commitment to safety and security for yourself and others.
Experience in Business Intelligence/Analytics is a plus.
An appreciation for diverse perspectives, thinking styles, and teamwork.
