A full-service intellectual property law firm is looking for a Patent Prosecution Legal Assistant for their Denver, CO office.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience with National Phase Filing
Patent heavy role
BA degree and paralegal certificate
Must live in Colorado (Denver area)
Preference for contract-to-hire, open to direct hire
MUST be familiar with electronic case management and USPTO rules
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage filing of design patent, and utility patent applications in the United States
Update and maintain docket with respect to new filings
MUST be able to jump in and work independently without much supervision
Open files and prepare documents for filing:
Patent applications, Preliminary Amendments, Information Disclosure Statements, Responses to Missing Parts, Assignments, Amendments, payments of Issue Fees
Maintain client portfolios
Salary: $80-$100k/yr.
