Job Description:

The Corporate Banking Administrative position is responsible for assisting the EVP, Market President with a variety of administrative duties, including supporting client relationships.



Duties and Responsibilities Include:


  • Performs day-to-day support such as answering telephones and directing calls, faxing, photocopying, coordinates travel and meeting arrangements, distributing mail, and setting up and maintaining files. Keeps Market President’s calendar, scheduling and coordinating meetings. Distributes internal communications as needed.

  • Prepares travel agendas and makes travel arrangements for business travels.

  • Manages Market President e-mails, keeping organized, scheduling, and responding to internal and external clients as appropriate.

  • Reviews client related requests and directs to Market President or appropriate bank officer.

  • Prepares letters, memos and reports for the Market President.

  • Regular communication and follow up with other departments on various administrative issues.

  • Assists in arrange initial set ups for new employees (business cards, access to systems, etc.).

  • Orders and keeps an inventory of branded specialty products for client distribution.

  • Coordinates meetings and keeps record of discussion topics. Follows up on pending items.

  • Coordinates with Corporate Communications and Community Relations on all related issues such as press releases, memberships, donations, sponsorships, etc.

  • Reviews and submits invoices.

  • Responsible for FedEx and Transnet Courier services.

  • Prepares expense reports, submits for processing and processes department’s invoice payment requests.

  • Logistics coordination for meetings and events, including equipment set-up and other accommodations.

  • When time permits, supports corporate/commercial team members as needed.

  • Prepares and distributes internal communications to employees as needed.





Minimum Education and/or Certifications Requirements:



High school or GED required. Associate degree preferred.



Minimum Work Experience Requirements:



3 to 5 years administrative assistant experience required with experience in a financial institution preferred.



Technical and/or Other Essential Knowledge:



Strong verbal and written communications skills in English is required. Organizational skills and time management are also required to accomplish duties assigned in an accurate and timely manner.
