Who are we looking for?


GHD is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Delivery Manager to lead the successful execution of projects across a client portfolio while fostering strong relationships both internally and externally. This is a key leadership position where you will support portfolio management, mentor a diverse team, and work collaboratively with client relationship managers to ensure GHD's services meet and exceed client expectations.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:


- Lead the delivery of a portfolio of projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with client needs and organizational objectives.

- Client-facing with key points of contact, fostering long-term relationships and ensuring the seamless delivery of work across multiple projects.

- Collaborate closely with client relationship managers to strategically grow and manage client portfolios, aligning GHD's services with their goals and challenges.

- Mentor and provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team, guiding them in project delivery, professional growth, and client interactions.

- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by actively addressing concerns, providing strategic advice, and delivering innovative solutions.

- Oversee the financial and operational performance of project portfolios, including budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.

- Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities within the portfolio and contributing to proposals and presentations.

• Develop efficient technical and regulatory strategies and solutions that address our clients' specific compliance need and challenges
• Ability to travel for short durations which will include overnight travel

What you will bring to the team:


- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in portfolio management, project delivery, or client-facing roles, preferably within the consulting or professional services industry.

- Proven leadership experience, with a strong focus on mentoring and developing high-performing teams.

- Proven delivery manager for projects including field investigation services, engineering design, and regulatory reporting within RCRA and CERCLA.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multi-discipline resources across multiple projects.

- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and geographies, fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation.

- Experience working with clients in sectors such as environmental consulting, infrastructure, water, energy, or is highly desirable.
