Key Responsibilities:


Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Customer Logistics Specialist to work with our Senior Operations Manager to support day-to-day logistics operations and ensure the company's goals and initiatives are met.


We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Customer Logistics Specialist to manage day-to-day logistics operations within our 3PL warehouse. The role will be responsible for coordinating with Customer Service, Inventory Specialists, Transport, and the Warehouse team to ensure seamless inventory flow, accurate order fulfillment, and strong business partner relationships. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills and have experience with SAP, WMS, and EDI, managing chilled inventory.


Additional Responsibilities:




  • Cross-functional Coordination: Serve as the central point of communication between Customer Service, Inventory Specialists, Transport, and the Warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate logistics operations.


  • Inventory Management: Oversee chilled inventory within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy, proper storage conditions, and efficient stock rotation.


  • EDI Management: Troubleshoot and manage EDI transactions, ensuring accurate and timely data exchange between the warehouse and external business partners.


  • SAP & WMS Operations: Utilize SAP and WMS platforms to track inventory, manage orders, and maintain data accuracy in real time.


  • Business Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with warehouse business partners, ensuring alignment on service level agreements (SLAs) and addressing any concerns proactively.


  • Collaboration with Transport Team: Work closely with the transport team to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods, resolving any transport-related challenges.


  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies, EDI failures, or order fulfillment to ensure customer satisfaction.


  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory levels, order accuracy, and delivery timelines, and drive continuous improvements.


  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and protocols for the handling and storage of chilled goods.


Requirements:



  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics or warehousing, preferably in a chilled or temperature-controlled environment

  • Must be located in the Brockport, NY area or willing to relocate

  • Willingness to be onsite daily in Brockport, NY in an office-based and chilled-warehouse environment

  • Proficiency in SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is essential. Experience with EDI troubleshooting is required

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Customer Service, Inventory, Transport, and warehouse staff

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for liaising with internal teams and external partners

  • Understanding of logistics, inventory management, and customer service processes

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and drive operational improvements

  • Familiarity with compliance standards for chilled goods or food safety regulations preferred

  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with external partners

  • Must have permanent, unrestricted U.S. work authorization (citizen, green card, or unrestricted EAD)
