RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in San Diego, CA that is seeking a highly experienced Senior Enterprise QA Architect to lead and shape the test automation strategy across our enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Automation Strategy: Senior Enterprise QA Architect will develop and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy that aligns with enterprise goals; Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to ensure faster, more reliable product releases


• Framework Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks; Standardize testing approaches across teams, leveraging frameworks such as data-driven, keyword-driven, and behavior-driven testing


• Tool Selection & Integration: Evaluate, select, and implement automation tools (e.g., Tricentis, QTest), ensuring seamless integration with Jira, Jenkins, and Git; Customize tools to meet project needs while driving automation excellence


• Continuous Integration: Lead the integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, providing continuous feedback loops and maintaining high code quality


• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor QA engineers, fostering best practices in automation testing; Lead by example, working alongside QA and development teams to champion a culture of quality


• Innovation & Emerging Technologies: As a Senior Enterprise QA Architect, you will stay up to date with the latest trends in test automation and quality assurance, recommending new tools and approaches to improve automation efforts


• Metrics & Reporting: Utilize Tricentis' robust reporting features to track and analyze KPIs (50-60 built-in, with the ability to customize); Provide real-time insights into testing outcomes and areas for improvement

REQUIREMENTS:

• The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in SDET or a similar role, with a strong background in building out QA frameworks for enterprise-level environments

Key Technologies & Tools:

• Programming Languages: Java, Python


• Test Management Tools: Tricentis (QA Symphony), QTest


• CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, Git


• TMS (Test Management System): Expertise in using enterprise-level TMS solutions and integrated test data management


• KPI Tracking: Experience customizing and utilizing KPIs for reporting and test management


• Mobile Testing: Experience with automated mobile testing frameworks and methodologies

Preferred Experience:

• Strong background in building and scaling enterprise QA frameworks


• Experience with Tricentis or equivalent test management systems


• Experience with robust reporting tools (similar to Power BI)


• Familiarity with AI-driven approaches to testing and automation is a plus


• Proven experience working in enterprise environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
