Join us at AstraZeneca in the Oncology Business Unit as a Senior Marketing Manager, Non-personal Digital & Media Strategy. This role is an outstanding opportunity to draw on the brightest and most a diverse set of minds to impact at scale. You will be responsible for leading the external relationship with our media agency and will play a meaningful role in the execution of brand strategy and priorities. This position is based at our Gaithersburg, MD campus headquarters for our US Oncology and Oncology Business.



Accountabilities:



As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will develop a compelling brand value narrative that promotes AstraZeneca's values, clinical programs, scientific innovation, and patient centricity. You will identify emerging digital technologies that can build innovative delivery of strategic brand imperatives and facilitate the development and execution of CALQUENCE promotional plan and programs. You will also lead partner agency relationships, workflow and related expense budgets.



Essential Skills/Experience:



  • 5 Years of experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with experience in one or more of the following: managed markets, brand marketing, sales, pricing, market research/analytics, or strategic planning

  • Experience in Digital Marketing, Media Channel Marketing and Personal Promotion Marketing

  • Ability to lead sophisticated projects

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a cross functional team




Preferred Experience:



  • MBA or Master's Degree.

  • Oncology, rare disease or specialty care experience.

  • HCP marketing experience.

  • Understanding of U.S. Oncology landscape

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $141,000 to $212,000. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
