Material Handler I

Irvine, CA (Onsite)

Position Summary

Thales is looking for a Material Handler I who will work in a warehouse environment which duties includes but are not limited to processing orders utilizing SAP, Inspection and Receiving, Packing, Shipping, Stocking material and other duties assigned by team leader.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Receive incoming Materials utilizing SAP.


• Inspects for damage, verify quantity and correct paperwork.


• Processes material to be shipped to our customers around the world.


• Stocks Materials and pulls Materials from stock.


• Ensures Materials for shipment are packaged properly.


• Locates and counts Materials in support of cycle counting/inventory.


• Operates forklifts and pallet jacks on a regular basis.


• Capable of working flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.


• Must be flexible and willing to work any area in Materials as necessary.


• Other duties as assigned by Team leader.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma.


• Possess and maintain a valid Driver License.


• 2 + years of experience operating forklifts and hand trucks.


• 2 + years of Warehouse, Logistics or similar experience.


• 1 + year of ERP experience.


• 2 + years of Excel / Word.

Special Position Requirements

• 
  Schedule: First Shift, 8AM-4:30PM Monday through Friday.


• 
  Physical Environment: Primary work environment is the production line and warehouse areas.


• 
  Physical Demands: Able to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds regularly and up to seventy (70) pounds on occasion with help.


• 
  Travel: Very limited travel potentially to other Thales manufacturing sites within the USA.


• 
  Regulatory Compliance Requirements: None.

What We Offer

The anticipated TTC range for this role is $33,179.18 - $61,618.47 USD Annual. The Company reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s status protected by local, state, or federal law.
