This position leads, develops, and manages the proposal team, including hiring and training, as necessary, and developing and implementing team policies and strategies. The Proposal Team Director is also a complex problem solver and serves as the first escalation point for the proposal team members. This position supports executive-level presentations, remains responsive to the changing business needs, and responds to Request for Proposals (RFPs). The Proposal Director also leads strategy, knowledge retention, content repository updates, and providing overall departmental status reports.

Strategically allocate all requests for support for both proposals team and vendor requests
Serve as the first point of escalation for proposal team members; remain highly responsive to the business needs
Capture and report on all requests supported by the proposals team
Capture and report on win-loss data and areas of continuous improvement
Audit all work for quality and retention
Lead the creation of reusable content and templates. Manage the accuracy and updates of the content repository (Responsive)
Conduct peer reviews of work completed
Support complex and executive-level business development activities and presentations
Lead and utilize proposal and project management methodologies to meet milestones for the preparation of formal bids in response to customers' specifications and requirements
Participate in proposal strategy meetings to identify and document solutions, win themes, and discriminators
Work closely with the sales team and internal Subject Matter Experts to deliver technically accurate, high-quality, on-time responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFI's), and AdHoc proposals
Additional Responsibilities
Effectively use existing data to address recurring content inquiries and develop strong proposals
Audit and create proposal artifacts, including customer research, data compilations, special analysis projects, etc.
Evaluate proposal content for clarity, consistency, and responsiveness to requirements and follow up with contributors to close any gaps
Ensure on-time submission of the proposal responses
Manage multiple proposal requests and projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards and meeting deadlines
Serve as the first point of contact for standard and custom marketing materials and sales support
Design and develop customized sales materials, including whitepapers and PowerPoint presentations that are consistent with Oxford's branding guidelines
Manage, create, and generalize reports on accounts by leveraging Tableau and market data software
Collaborate with the Vice President of Strategic Business Operations for proposal team future state plan and recommendations

Education
Experience
10+ years of proposal management experience
5+ years of team supervisory experience
APMP Certification
Experience in consulting service industry.
Experience supporting sales team members and providing sales support
Extensive experience in professional business writing and communications
Significant experience in professional business experience creating, designing, and constructing PowerPoint presentations
Expert understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
