At TapeCase, we design, convert, manufacture, and distribute highly engineered adhesive tape products. We add value to the highly engineered products we sell by enhancing their delivered formats by offering expansive tape converting services to provide a custom tape solution for nearly any application. You will perform routine accounting activities such as entering data, reviewing/coding/verifying transactions, and posting journal entries.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer payments into ERP system(s)
• Identify payment discrepancies and determines proper handling of short-pay (i.e. write-off or pass along information to Collections for follow-up with customer)
• Reconcile daily transaction reports to bank totals to prepare for monthly cash reconciliation
• Complete sales invoice billing daily and distribute invoices through proper channels
• Prepare daily deposit information for scanning into Document Imaging system
• Review, code and post vendor invoices into the accounting system
• Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records regarding expenses
• Assist in the month-end closing process
• Respond to internal and external inquires regarding accounts payable and/or accounts receivable

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years of related experience and/or training. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalency (GED, HSED)
• Strong computer and experience working within Microsoft programs including Excel
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Strong communication both verbal and written
