Description Overview The Quality Compliance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing compliance programs including Internal and External Audit programs, Document Control, Consumer Complaints, SAP and Management of Change and Supplier Management. This position is responsible for the improvement and management of quality systems supporting consumer preference and trust, crisis management and management of change. This position will ensure continuous improvement of the consumer based sensory and consumer feedback programs, mock recall and trace with mastership of a continually changing market and commerce landscape, as well as Management of Change and Document control through the digital age. This position will work autonomously under the supervision of the Factory Quality Manager. Scope of the Role Training: • Own knowledge transfer and continuous improvement in methodology for transfer of knowledge through updated methods as technology is available including digitization. • Develop coach and train the required training material to ensure highly effective and efficient quality systems. Trace/Mock Recall: • Monitor and continuously improve the Mock Recall and Trace program including e-commerce trace management and act as marketing contact for online support. • Serve as backup to the local crisis team for QA roles and responsibilities with respect to recall/trace events. Consumer Complaints: • Serve as the primary contact for consumer complaint investigation for the site including trend monitoring, continuous improvement activities for prevention, detection and corrective actions resulting from trends or consumer feedback for domestic and export markets. Coordinating all communications from the factory to the Factory Quality Manger and ultimately to the complaint resource center. External Audits: • Support facility during internal and external audits and assessments including but not limited to: FDA, USDA, WDA, Kosher, Halal, ISO, NMS, RSPO and other requirements. Document Control: • Supervise the conformance, sustainability and improvement of Document Control identifying and implementing technological solutions as available. Management of Change: • Supervise identification and verification of improvements to the Management of Change quality systems. SAP: • Supervise and assume responsibility for SAP/GLOBE system. Integration of electronic data collection and management systems. • Supports the facility in continuous improvement through PWS, develop direct reports as system experts and people leaders. • Oversees the Quality compliance of all materials in the factory. This includes investigation/deviation of Quality system compliance with materials and GLOBE functionality. • Provides expertise and guidance to ensuring compliance to material specifications and requirements. Improves the Quality systems module of GLOBE and collaboration with site manufacturing and operational teams. Supplier Quality Management: • Develop, implement, and maintain Quality processes for the planning, coordination and execution of raw and packaging material disposition. • Collaboration with TAG and Quality Specialists for deviation management regarding exceptional release request or reject as appropriate. • Works with a cross-functional team including factory procurement, production and planning to ensure key factory priorities and functional requirements are met utilizing appropriate measures and trend analysis. • Acts as a vendor contact for real time initiation of deviation investigation. Supports continuous vendor improvement via the Supplier Management Improvement Process. • Collaborates with Quality Control and Quality Assurance to ensure the completion of the Qualification and Contaminant monitoring programs though sampling and submission/release of ingredient with associated finished product compliance management. Experience Required • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred microbiology, chemistry or food science) • 5 years of Quality experience • Experience in regulated food manufacturing environment with exposure to 21 CFR 106, 21 CRF 107, 21 CFR 110, lean manufacturing philosophy, and FSSC 22000/SQF regulations. • Demonstrated capability to lead a group Benefits We believe our people are our greatest asset.
