Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and objectives. Document and analyze requirements to ensure they align with business goals.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Use data-driven findings to make informed recommendations.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement. Identify capability requirements and associated capability gaps to provide the source material for the development of operational capability requirements documents. Propose solutions that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and align with strategic goals. Perform Gap Analysis.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Validate proposed solutions against business needs and requirements, ensuring they meet desired outcomes. Work closely with technical teams to ensure successful implementation and integration.
  • Documentation: Create clear and comprehensive requirement documents, including business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, and process flows. Ensure requirements are well-defined, actionable, and understandable by technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements. Conduct interviews, workshops and surveys to gather detailed information about processes, systems, and user needs.
  • Project Support: Assist in project planning, monitoring, and execution. Provide support throughout the project lifecycle to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions. Work with field, internal users, and senior management to understand needs and develop plans for meeting those needs. Use in-depth understanding of system to draft reports for users and/or clients from system(s) which aid in business decision making.



Qualifications

    • S. Citizen with active Top Secret security clearance.
    • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of specialized experience providing robust assessments of mission areas, or similar bounded set of activities, assessing the capability and capacity of units or organizations to successfully complete the mission or activities.
    • Capable of working independently or collaboratively on complex projects.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions to complex challenges.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Experience preparing and delivering oral briefings to senior-level policy and decision makers.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
    • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize and manage workload, manage simultaneous tasks, and meet deadlines with a changing, fast-paced environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree in business administration.
    • 5+ years of experience with ACIDS/JCIDS processes, methodologies, and products.
    • 5+ years of experience conducting Capability Based Assessments (CBA).
    • 5+ years of experience with requirements or needs analysis.
    • 5+ years of experience with specific background in Military Intelligence.
    • 8+ years of Division staff or higher planning staff experience as a combat officer.
    • 8+ years of documenting analytical efforts, constructing briefings, and presenting results.
