Aegis Aerospace is currently looking for an IT SharePoint Intern to join our team in Houston.
Overview:
Our team is looking for a SharePoint Intern to assist with the migration of SharePoint on-premises to SharePoint 365. This includes manually transferring data when needed, updating automation to supported methods and assisting with the recreation of interfaces that use supported technologies. Existing issues and help desk tickets may also be worked to free up the time of other developers. Shadowing of the senior developer will initially be required to obtain the requisite institutional knowledge and architectural familiarity with the existing and new environments.

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Intern to join our team. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Aerospace Industry in the areas of Information Technology. The ideal candidate is passionate about Aerospace, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Assist assigned department with daily tasks and projects.
Conduct research on industry trends and best practices.
Assist in the development of specific tasks or projects related to your assigned business unit.
Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and solutions.
Provide support for various administrative tasks as needed.
Attend team meetings and contribute ideas and insights.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a Information Technology, Engineering, Social Media, and Computer Sciences program at an accredited university and are in your Junior or Senior year of college or are in a Aerospace related cohort.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in specific software or tools related to the internship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
