Job Description




Summary:



Working closely with appropriate Supervisors, serve as a liaison between GCS Operations and various partner groups to ensure consistent and compliant operations across Clinical Supply Operations. Adherence to regulatory, global and site policies and procedures governing activities is critical.



General Responsibilities:



  • Complete documentation according to Good Documentation Practices (GDPs)

  • Perform administrative duties, as necessary (e.g. archiving, data entry/recording, metrics reports, etc.)

  • Participate in walkthroughs of areas/processes to identify process improvements and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements

  • Provide input to SOP updates

  • Participate in investigations of atypical events and clinical complaints, as needed

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for your respective area

  • Execute Corrective/Preventative actions stemming from walkthrough observations and/or investigations, as needed

  • Maintain training and compliance with site safety and quality requirements

Order Fulfillment-specific Responsibilities:


  • Partner with multipleresearch locations, clinical sites, primary/secondary depots, and vendors, as well as various intercompany partners including GCS, Global Trade Compliance & Operations (GTCO), Distribution Planning, Master Planning, site shipping personnel, and Clinical Research stakeholders across global locations.

  • Receive & process order requests from automated systems (SAP) and manually generated requests.

  • Act as primary contact for client shipping sites in U.S. Export Transactions.

  • Influence intercompany stakeholders to comply with Standard Business Practices related to Logistics.

  • Resolve stakeholder issues (export, logistics, system, paperwork, etc.)

  • Miscellaneous administrative duties (Filing/Copying/Archiving, Data Entry, Data Reporting)




Qualifications




Basic Minimum Requirements:



  • Experience in related Business Operations or GMP regulated environment, with specific experience in the target area (Logistics/Trade)

  • Possesses the following:

    • Effective interpersonal and communication skills

    • Demonstrated problem-solving skills

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)

    • Detail-oriented and organization skills

    • Ability to quickly learn and complete tasks independently with minimal guidance after training



  • Knowledge of cGMPs, data management, collection and analysis

  • SAP (or equivalent) experience strongly preferred




Additional Information



Position isFull Time, First Shift - Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm.Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point
