PLANNING PRACTICE

DESCRIPTION
The Denver-based planning group is seeking a talented Transportation or Urban Planner who is energized by assembling and implementing innovative public engagement with a focus reaching diverse communities. This role will be hands on, with a focus on attending and supporting engagement events and assisting the team with organization and logistics. Experience using digital software to create visual graphics that would support engagement efforts, strongly preferred.

As we continue to grow our practice in the areas of complete streets, corridor planning / design, comprehensive safety action plans, and wayfinding / branding, the ideal candidate would have a relevant combination of skills in data analysis, graphics design, report development, and identifying innovative planning solutions. Engaging with clients and community members across these project types will be at the core of this exciting opportunity.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS


  • 4 to 6 years' experience with

    • Public Engagement Experience such a structing engagement for planning, identifying effective engagement for key stakeholder groups and facilitating meetings
    • Adobe Creative Suite
    • Sketch Up
    • Planning, design, and / or engagement experience related to multimodal corridor planning, transportation safety action plans, and other transportation master plans.

  • Educational background with training in public engagement, urban planning, communication and graphics and/or other related fields (if other fields please explain the connection to the focus of this work)
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record

COMPENSATION
The approximate compensation range for this position is $ 57,574.40 - $90,667.20 per year. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
