Summary:
The Workface Planner will have responsibility in the Advance Work Packaging/Workface Planning (AWP) effort.
Additional Functions
Produce discipline specific Installation Work Packages (IWPs) utilizing provided templates Coordinate and collaborate with the respective discipline superintendents and/or general foremen and engineers to ensure that IWPs when released to the field already have the buy-in of these key individuals Ensure each IWP is fully completed using the provided templates Participates in interactive planning sessions Provides input into the development of the Path of Construction
Minimum Qualifications
Capable of handling multiple projectsConstructability & strategy leadershipOrganization, documentation skills through project punch list and turnoverCollaboration and team building skillsTeam oriented to work with other disciplinesProblem solving & negotiating skillsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.Firm knowledge of construction/maintenance projects in an Industrial settingStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive level internal & external clients Organizational & detailed-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage differing needs of the businessAbility to multi-task working within a team structure and independently
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalentMinimum 4 years of Industrial Construction Management experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills, time management and organizational skills are requiredExperience in navigating 3d modeling softwareExperience in building work packagesExperience in estimating/planning
