Where you come in:



  • You will be US based (San Diego) and be responsible for leading Site Master Planning (SMP) and capital management across all manufacturing, non-manufacturing sites and key stakeholder groups (such as Finance) to ensure seamless planning & reporting of our annual capex project forecast spend and approval through the Capital Review Committee (CRC).


  • You will Co-ordinate global facilities capex forecast spend vs actual, tracking and reporting for Snr Stakeholder groups and work with Site Facilities Leaders, Finance and Project Delivery team to ensure SMP alignment to annual plan cycle.


  • You will develop the global standard for SMP alignment to annual plan cycle and any associated training and communication strategies.


  • You understand facilities management and partners with Global Engineering Standards team to ensure ongoing alignment with Global Engineering Standards as required. Including, co-ordination of engineering studies where required.


  • You will partner with cross-functional platform owners, such as Smartsheet to drive automation in tracking and reporting and develop training modules to execute and roll out automation across all stakeholder groups.


  • You will partner with Finance to drive single source data set for global capex forecast spend vs actual to streamline Snr Stakeholder reporting.


  • You work Site Facility Leads and Project Management groups to ensure timely and accurate creation of CRC decks.


  • You plan and executes effective project stage gate reviews and summary reporting ahead of CRC meetings.





What makes you successful:



  • Engineering degree or equivalent years of experience.


  • Solid understanding of project management & project controls methodologies, techniques, and processes along with cost control and tracking.


  • Experience leading capital projects / ideally having spent several years based on a manufacturing site within a project / engineering function. Large project and Facilities Management experience would be advantageous.


  • Strong numerical & advanced excel skills are a must.


  • Proficient with MS Office applications.


  • Ability to build relationships across functions and business units.


  • This role will be required to present routinely to Senior Stakeholders so the ability to produce highly polished, professional work is a must. Ideally should have similar prior experience.


  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet aggressive timelines.


  • Excellent organization, prioritization, problem solving, and communication skills.


  • Resourceful, innovative, and possesses the ability to work with general direction and oversight.


  • Proficient in English. Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of stakeholders.
