Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant with multiple entities experience and construction industry expertise to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of WIP (Work-in-Progress) reporting, along with a solid foundation in accounting best practices specific to construction. Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounting operations across multiple entities within the organization.
Oversee and maintain WIP reporting to track project performance and profitability.
Prepare financial statements, month-end close processes, and reconciliation of accounts.
Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and construction-specific regulations.
Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to monitor budgets, costs, and job progress.
Fixed assets, Bank reconciliations, and manage Accounts Payable.
Assist in audit preparation and tax compliance.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on construction industry.
Expertise in managing multiple entities or subsidiaries.
Strong knowledge of WIP reporting and job costing.
Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks Online.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
