The Payroll Analyst:



The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing payroll data and partnering with our 3rd Party processing company to ensure all team members are paid in compliance with state and federal laws.



What You'll Do:



  • Establish relationships and work closely with restaurant and manufacturing operations to provide support on payroll processes and procedures.

  • Communicate with team members to make sure payroll issues and inquiries are resolved in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate cross-department between People & Culture, Accounting, Legal, and Field operations as applicable to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes.

  • Assist with the setup, maintenance, and reconciliation of all employee payroll data records, including tax withholdings, 401k deductions, direct deposit information, and other employee benefits in our payroll software (UKG).

  • Assist with auditing of employee data to ensure data discrepancies are reviewed and corrected.

  • Partner with 3rd Party processing company to process and record manual payroll checks and adjustments as needed.

  • Process required filings and reports.

  • Prepares requested documents and files for workers compensation audits.

  • Back-up HRIS department as needed.

  • Performs other duties as required.


The Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field preferred

  • FPC certification preferred

  • 1 years of payroll experience

  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Excel and One Note

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Experience with UKG preferred


Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment

  • Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details

  • For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively

  • Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable

  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
