Chemist

Where will you work: Onsite - Riverview, FL (8813 S US Hwy 41
Riverview, FL 33578)

The Chemist position is responsible for managing supplies, maintaining equipment, preparing reagents/calibration standard. This position is responsible for providing research and evaluation of new equipment and procedures.

What will you do?


  • Manage lab supplies and equipment.


  • Provide reagents, standardized solutions, and calibration standards.


  • Develop, test and publish new methods of analysis as required.


  • Train lab and plant personnel to perform analysis.


  • Perform non-routine chemical analysis.


  • Conduct research and evaluations on prospective analytical equipment purchases for both lab and on-line applications.


  • Perform routine maintenance as well as troubleshooting and repair services on all lab equipment.


  • Perform other duties as assigned.


What do you need for this role?


  • Bachelors Degree required with a major in Science or Chemistry.


  • 1+ years of Related Experience required.


  • Microsoft Office experience
