Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking to hire an AR/Collections Specialist in Lansing, Michigan (MI). This client is a manufacturing company, and the role will be fully in office.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitor past due accounts


• Negotiate payment arrangements


• Collections Specialist will contact customers regarding deductions


• Reconcile accounts and remittances


• Help answer customer calls


• Release orders on credit hold


• Collections Specialist will work to resolve customer discrepancies


• Request adjustments on customer accounts


• Prepare and participate in AR reviews


• Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidates must have business to business collection experience and strong computer skills preferably with a larger ERP system such as SAP or Oracle


• Candidates must be willing to be onsite 5 days a week

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
