This position is in the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Cardiac Implantables Technology Development Center (CI TDC) post-market Program Management Office (PMO) and involves leading one or more large, cross-functional post-market programs within CRM. This individual will partner closely with functional teams in CRM, regions, and other Medtronic organizations to plan and execute these programs. The person in this role is accountable for the overall success of the programs they manage, including program objectives, timelines, milestones, and budgets.\t

The primary responsibility for this role is leadership of our China portfolio - driving regulatory approval and product availability of our legacy products into the China market and building the infrastructure to support approval and launch of new products as they complete development. The individual in this role will lead a team of functional subject matter experts and work closely with our China commercial team, worldwide marketing teams, engineering, regulatory, clinical, operations, and other functions to accomplish the program goals.

• Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies.


• Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.


• Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.


• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.


• Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.


• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.


• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.


• Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project's key stakeholders.


• Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.

• Bachelor's degree


• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience.

Nice to Have

• Bio-medical engineering degree


• Experience with implantable medical device product approval and launches


• Knowledge of and experience with China public health policy and regulatory approval process


• Mandarin language fluency (ability to read, write and speak).

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$188,800.00 - $283,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
