Hearthstone Communities is in growth mode and currently seeking a Director of Nursing to join our team! The Director of Nursing is responsible to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operations of the our Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, and to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times! Responsibilities:

Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department, as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
Develop, maintain, and periodically update written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department.
Determine the staffing needs of the nursing service department necessary to met the total nursing needs of the residents.
Participate in the all admissions to the facility
Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure that medications are being administered as ordered and that treatments are provided as scheduled.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current State of Illinois RN license
Experienced with working with budget management and resource allocation
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use.
Outstanding interpersonal skills including the ability to lead and motivate others.
