Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Claims Team Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of data processing systems and deposit insurance regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with deposit insurance regulations and FDIC claims policies.
• Maintain proficiency in Microsoft’s Office Suite Products and quickly adapt to FDIC standardized software and database systems.
• Review and critique the work papers prepared by subordinate staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with client’s policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Four-year business, accounting or equivalent degree from an accredited university to include or is supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting or auditing.
• Four (4) years’ experience with a bank compliance officer or similar position that required knowledge and application of deposit insurance regulations.
• Three (3) years’ supervisory experience.
• Ability to pass a background investigation, including but not limited to nationwide criminal record search, and other relevant background information deemed necessary by the contract
• United States citizenship is required to work on a federal contract and will be electronically verified via E-Verify
