Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Asset Management and Credit Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit analysis, loan workouts, and asset management. This role requires expertise in managing owned real estate and other assets, as well as in-depth knowledge of various financial contracts and servicing standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive credit analysis and manage loan workouts for identified assets.
  • Oversee the management of owned real estate and other owned assets as specified in the Task Order.
  • Develop and implement asset business plans and conduct asset analysis to optimize performance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards related to loan servicing for programs from Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, VA, FHA, HUD, SBA, and FSA.
  • Review and critique work papers prepared by subordinate staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client policies.
  • Train and mentor colleagues in credit analysis and asset management best practices.
  • Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quickly adapt to FDIC standardized software and database systems.
  • Stay updated on contract law and various financial contracts relevant to financial institutions.

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Five (5) years’ experience in asset management with a broad credit background related to specific asset types.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in credit analysis, loan workouts, and repossession of collateral
  • In-depth knowledge of loan servicing industry standards and agreements, including participation agreements and securitizations.
  • Knowledge of servicing systems, asset types and agreements, such as participation agreements, pooling and servicing agreements, pass-through REMIC and REMIC-like securitizations, securities, IRBs and credit card processing agreements.
  • Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and develop staff.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation, including but not limited to nationwide criminal record search, and other relevant background information deemed necessary by the contract
  • United States citizenship is required to work on a federal contract and will be electronically verified via E-Verify
