Job Responsibilities
Pennoni is currently looking for a Forensics Specialist with experience consistent, but not limited to:
Evaluation and investigation of existing structures to determine the structural condition and evaluate for repair, hardening or improvements.
Designing and detailing of the findings will be required along with periodic construction site visits,
Reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFIs.
Projects also are serviced throughout the state which necessitates travel of an experienced field engineer.
Required Attributes:
Familiarity with structural analysis and design software, RAM, STAAD, TEKLA, ENERCALC, MathCAD, but capable of doing design calculations manually
Required Education: BS in Civil Engineering
Minimum Years of Relevant Experience: 4-7 years
Minimum Years of Management Experience - 0-3 years
Licenses Required: EIT
Preferred Attributes:
Construction inspection experience
REVIT modeling capabilities
Professional Engineer license
Special inspector license
Master's Degree
Concrete inspection, building envelope assessments
Use of NDT tools and investigation methods
Experience with insurance or litigation support
