We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Bookkeepers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in maintaining accurate financial records. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.


Key Responsibilities


- Financial Record Keeping:


- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.


- Post financial transactions in accounting software, ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.


- Account Reconciliation:


- Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.


- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.


- Accounts Payable and Receivable:


- Process accounts payable by verifying and entering invoices, scheduling and preparing checks, and resolving any discrepancies.


- Manage accounts receivable by generating invoices, processing payments, and following up on overdue accounts.


- Financial Reporting:


- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.


- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.


- Compliance and Audits:


- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting principles.


- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.


Qualifications


- Education:


- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.


- Experience:


- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.


- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).


- Skills:


- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.


- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


- Good organizational and time-management abilities.


- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.


- Other Requirements:


- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial regulations.


- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
