The Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for managing the loan application process, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete, and facilitating communication between all parties involved in the mortgage process. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of mortgage regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze loan applications and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with lending guidelines. - Collect and verify necessary documents, including income statements, credit reports, tax returns, and employment verification. - Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers, real estate agents, and underwriters throughout the loan process. Provide timely updates and address any concerns. - Input and maintain accurate information in the loan processing software and databases. - Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the loan processing stage, such as discrepancies in documentation or credit issues. - Ensure all loan files meet regulatory standards and company policies, including proper disclosures and documentation practices. - Conduct final reviews of loan files to ensure all necessary conditions have been met before closing.
Qualifications: - Associates Degree or equivalent work experience; a degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred. - Previous experience in mortgage processing or a related field is highly desirable. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficient in mortgage software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Understanding of mortgage regulations, loan products, and underwriting guidelines. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities - Customer-focused with a commitment to providing excellent service
