Slalom Phoenix is seeking aSenior Consultant or Principal Application Architect to join our team and contribute to the impact we are making. You will act as a technology partner and advisor to clients through delivery and partner with slalom teams to evaluate new client business opportunities and help craft best-fit technology solutions.
What You'll Do
Feature development, enhancements, code reviews, following slalom's product engineering methodology, tenets, and best practices
Backend development includes controller endpoints and writing services that connect to databases, transform and restructure data, write business logic.
Deploy and manage services in AWS with a continuous learning of modern cloud-native technologies and best practices
Work with highly skilled Slalom team members to design and develop state-of-the-art solutions and offerings (accelerators)
Define, implement, and execute processes to design and build modern cloud-native solutions in alignment with the client's architectural tenets
Establish contacts within business units and information system programs to understand business activities and business drivers, business requirements, solutions strategies and alternatives, etc., being considered and/or implemented.
What You'll Bring
Significant breadth and depth in application development, implementation of modern cloud-native software products, implementing and deploying large-scale, complex technology platforms in an Agile or Scrum environment
Expertise across many projects using combinations of: Java, Typescript, NodeJs, React, IaC, and several frameworks or patterns including Spring, SpringBoot, Maven, Gradle, AWS CDK, REST, Graphql, Graph Databases, event driven architecture, distributed systems, and more.
Experienced in several AWS Services including Neptune, DocumentDB, Lambda, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, S3, Fargate, EB, API Gateway.
Passion for learning new languages and technologies and staying on top of the technology wave.
