Job Summary:


The Admissions Processor is responsible for processing undergraduate student applications and required application documents. The Admissions Processor will also assist the processing team with preparing and disseminating application-related communication to students. This position works directly with the Lead, Admissions Processor and other processing staff to ensure applications are processed in a timely manner. This position reports to the Director, Undergraduate Admissions in the Office of Admissions.



Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Reviews and processes undergraduate admissions applications and required application documents through the customer relationship management (CRM) system and student information (SI) system.

  • Provides customer service to office visitors/callers and communicates with students regarding application requirements as needed.

  • Maintains a secure and organized filing system (hard-copy and electronic).

  • Uploads student records into the university's document imaging system.

  • Processes reports as directed from the Director, Undergraduate Admissions.

  • Assists with preparing and disseminating application-related communications (i.e. letters).

  • Ensures the confidentiality and accurate data entry of all information processed.

  • Performs other related duties as asssigned.



Required Minimum Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalence, and

  • Two (2) year full time equivalent experience in clerical or administrative support
