Supervises employees within billing departments and coordinates all aspects of the billing process which may include billing of customers, collections of accounts receivables and/or financial reporting, and exception processing for customer accounts. Implements changes in billing procedures and ensures compliance with all tariffs. Adheres to company and government regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manages the monthly closing to ensure timely and accurate information is processed to corporate accounting and produces statistical and other requested reports on a monthly basis for managements review (15%)
2. Supervises daily operation of the customer billing area to ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing information. (40%)
3. Provides feedback on the short and long-range planning for the billing departments to support the development of the Company's billing requirements (10%)
4. Daily supervision of billing representatives and analysts including completion and monitoring of performance metrics with appraisal documents. Support to customer relations representatives with in-depth billing and escalated supervisor calls (25%)
5. Works closely with Marketing, Rates, and IT in testing and implementing any changes or enhancements to the billing system (10%)
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher with 4 years relevant leadership experience
Microsoft Suite
