Job Title: Analyst - ETD Business Services

Location: In Office Orange CT


The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $83,804.80 - $104,756


Qualifications: (minimum qualifications for assignment to this job)
Education: AS Degree Experience:
Requires an Associate's Degree from an accredited college/university in
a related discipline. Working knowledge of personal
computers including operation of office automation products (e.g.,
Microsoft Office, Outlook) and advanced computer software
applications (Excel, Access, SAP) is required.


Purpose:
Lead role in the management of UI and Frontier utility poles, third party
attachments and billing process. Responsible for the integrity of the data in the system of record (Alden One). Initiate process improvements to maintain, analyze and report the data needed for Management, PURA, and customers. Responsible for preparation of documentation, training and updating all pole management records for all UI owned and Joint owned poles in UI's territory. Lead role in
ensuring up-to-date company-wide operating procedures, in collaboration with others, for the safe operation of the electric system using effective documentation management techniques. Must maintain
confidentiality of all written documents and sensitive information.


Key Responsibilities:
Lead role in updating and maintaining the data integrity in Alden One system in compliance with PURA Mandates. Including ensuring the data for new poles, replacement poles, and attachment
records are recorded and accurate in the system of record.


Independently process complex pole billing and receivables, 3rd party attachments (tariff billing to communications companies attached to UI's joint poles), yearly Fibertech power gain shifts, and maintains operating procedures on each billing process. Reviews SAP notifications for completion for metric reporting and customer closure.


Technical Specialist for Alden One, GIS, Pole Management, SAP databases. Prepares metrics and reports for job related activities.


Team lead for application of relational database and Excel/Access knowledge to create databases, queries, and reports as needed to assist Joint Use in Frontier pole billing, 3rd party attachment billing and power gain attachment billing.


Change agent for highly complex processes that affect the pole management software upgrades, billing process & maintenance of poles, 3rd party attachments & operating procedures in the current file
storage structure.


Team lead for the Administrative Support for the Pole Management database, interpreting Alden One and SAP requests, validating new poles and replacements for updating the system of record.


Works with UI Electric Operation Management and takes the lead on special projects; works with the other analysts in support of department objectives.


Responsible for the documentation of work process and knowledge sharing with others to ensure efficient and uninterrupted workflow.


Responsible for maintaining the records retention schedule in support of Electric Operations.


Effectively communicate to different groups within UI Electrical Operations to ensure the system of record contains highly accurate information.


Requires experience with advanced computer software applications utilizing analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, Access, and presentation software such as Word and PowerPoint.


Must possess the ability to use good judgement, work independently, effectively communicate (written and oral) with all levels of management and non-management employees.


Ability to effectively and accurately organize large quantities of critical information that affect multiple constituencies.


Ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, other Divisions, and organizations outside UI, including customers.


Demonstrated interpersonal skills and working as a team member.
