RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is seeking a NOC Specialist. This role is pivotal in maintaining the stability and performance of our infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of service management and technical skills, with a stronger emphasis on service management. This position requires a commitment to the night shift, working from Saturday to Tuesday, 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM.

Responsibilities:


  • Monitor and manage the organization's infrastructure from the command center

  • Handle incident management, ensuring timely resolution and communication

  • Utilize Windows and Linux systems for troubleshooting and maintenance

  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless service management

  • Provide support for Tier 1 and Tier 2 issues, escalating as necessary

  • Maintain detailed documentation of incidents and resolutions







REQUIREMENTS:



  • 1-3 years of experience in a relevant field is required

  • Service Management experience is prioritized over technical experience

  • Experience in roles that are agnostic to specific tech stacks and not solely focused on Network Administration or similar siloed roles

  • Candidates who have progressed from service desk roles to network roles are preferred

  • ITIL-related skills/experience such as problem management, change management, and access management are required; Either experience or exposure to these areas

  • Candidates must be available to work the required shift of 1-9 PM MT, Monday to Friday; It is essential to confirm if candidates have worked graveyard shifts and document this in the submission

  • Candidates must be available for onsite training from 9-5, Monday to Friday for the first two weeks

  • Candidates must be able to work onsite for at least two weeks during the specified shift

  • Local candidates are required to be onsite 1-2 days per week after the initial training and first two weeks of overnight shifts






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
