SEH is currently searching for a talented Business Intelligence Analyst to join and grow with our Business Development team!

The goal of our Business Development team is to find and deliver innovative and challenging projects for SEH that address our clients' needs. This Opportunity:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data sources, required data elements, and/or data validation standards
  • Aggregate and perform statistical analysis on business data based on requests from project teams and senior leadership
  • Analyze data to create dashboards, metrics and insights to create a better understanding of business performance, trends, opportunities, or anomalies
  • Integrate and ensure accuracy of data pulled from multiple internal or external data sources
  • Interpret data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, and suggest areas of improvement
  • Utilize standard or ad hoc queries or reports to extract data from disparate databases or other data sources
  • Partner with developmental teams to design business intelligence solutions to facilitate data gathering, storage and retrieval

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a business analysis, data analysis, and/or business intelligence capacity
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel and/or SQL, data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, collaborative artificial intelligence tools, and statistical analysis software
  • Experienced with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Prior experience working with financial principles, including financial statements and ROI analysis.
  • Proven strong business acumen with the ability to identify and assess potential growth opportunities and acquisition targets and their financial viability

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preference given to candidates located in Minneapolis-St. Paul metro or surrounding area
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business, information technology, finance, data science, or a related field
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in business analysis, M&A activities, data analysis, and business intelligence
  • Experience in a business intelligence analyst role within the A&E industry
  • Knowledge of A&E industry trends and competitor activities

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $75,000 and $90,000 based on skill set and experience.
