Position Summary - this position is responsible for managing the development and implementation of the strategies to grow our distribution business in North America.
Responsibilities
Position duties and responsibilities:
Build influential relationships with counterparts and senior management at assigned distributor partners
Manage the overall business relationship, including customer, product and inventory expansion plans for assigned distributor partners
Drives the achievement of assigned budgets (POP and POS)
Develops and drives growth strategies for new and existing product portfolio
Monitors competitive market intelligence and trends to modify strategy
Coordinates activities with Product Management and Pricing team to maximize product line growth with assigned distributors
Partners with marketing team to develop and implement strategic marketing campaigns
Partners with Regional Sales Managers to develop and drive regional distribution growth sales plans
Manages cross functional activities as required between Product Management, Engineering, Customer Service, Operations and manufacturers rep firms to support growth initiatives
Analyzes sales trends to maximize customer reach, inventory requirements and growth opportunities
Learns internal capabilities, systems and processes to support growth objectives.

Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
Ability to travel as required to support distributors, 25 - 50% estimated
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management or technical degree preferred
Electronic components manufacturer or distribution experience
Strong interconnect technical acumen
Ability to lead and problem solve in unstructured environments
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to lead programs or projects
