Main Purpose
As an Operations Manager at our largest Processing facility in the US, you will work closely with the Plant Manager to assist in managing all aspects of plant production operations. This role requires a forward thinker with excellent leadership skills and a drive for continuous improvement.
Key Job Responsibilities
Manages all aspects of plant production including Tank Farm Operations, Railcar Loading Operations, Fuel Pumping & Blending, Shredder Operations, and Consolidation
Directs the processing of and schedules inbound and outbound waste shipments
Monitors Production KPIs such as inventory, supply & spare management, and compliance
Champions the implementation and compliance of Health & Safety programs and works closely with site H&S personnel to strengthen adherence
Ensures facility compliance of RCRA, DOT, and EPA regulations
Collaborates interdepartmentally and acts as primary point of contact for Disposal Outlets
Identifies operational inefficiencies and areas of improvement
Monitors and occasionally participates in activities such as Hot Works, Confined Space Entry, and other permitted activities
Operates various types of equipment including pumps, tanks, and shredders
Works with managers and HR to assist with the implementation and execution of employee engagement initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field preferred
Minimum of five (5) years of environmental experience required
Five (5) years of management experience in a industrial environment required
Five (5) years of TSDF operational experience preferred
Knowledge of RCRA, DOT, and OSHA regulations is required
SAP experience is desirable
