Responsible for the day-to-day operation effectiveness of a retail division's movement of product, or "supply chain" and for the dedicated Transportation Center supporting the retail division. Understand total distribution, transportation and store operations, with an emphasis on carrier supply chain programs to provide lower cost of product. Accountable for supporting and maintaining distribution center's transportation and warehouse financial objectives. Interaction with the distribution senior management and various dedicated freight carriers in support of marketing and sales initiatives. Drive actions that assist the divisions in running great stores. Ensure that the service level targets are met, as well as providing rapid response and maintaining a high store satisfaction level.
