Sierra Post Acute is Hiring a Temporary Maintenance Assistant!

Shift: Part-Time, Monday- Wednesday- 8 hour days-can turn into Full-Time in 2-3 months

What to expect:

Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the building including grounds and fixtures by performing the following duties:

• Primarily will be helping with repairs and upgrades.


• Monitors building and grounds to ensure a neat and clean presentation and environment.


• Performs various cleaning and maintenance activities.


• Assists with multiple maintenance projects around the facility


• Removes trash and disposes of in designated areas.
  - Maintains all janitorial equipment.
  - Reports the need for any major repairs to management.
  - Performs other related duties as assigned.


• Opportunity for the position to become a full-time role.

Successful Candidates:

• Must have 5+ years' experience in maintenance


• Well-rounded in plumbing and electrical knowledge


• Be able to lift 50+ pounds


• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• Prior maintenance experience.


• Must be able to work in a facility with dementia residents


• Must be able to work in a secured environment.
