Anna Maria of Aurora is looking for a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Control Preventionist.

The Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Control Preventionist is responsible for development, implementation, and management of the Campus of Anna Maria’s Infection Prevention and Control Program.

Job Duties of Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Control Preventionist Include:

• Staff education related to infection prevention practices


• Conducts outbreak investigations, identifies patterns, seeks to ascertain source and mitigate risk factors and outbreak


• Analyzes infection and process measure data to evaluate performance and recommend changes or update procedures, as indicated and reports at QAPI Committee meetings.


• Supports and acts as lead for antibiotic stewardship initiative.


• Responsible for collecting and reporting CMS, NHSN and ODH reporting requirements related to COVID testing/tracking , Vaccination tracking/schedules for employees and residents.


• Participate in survey preparation and on-site survey process for both Anna Maria and Kensington.


• Weekend On-Call Rotation 

Job Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Control Preventionist Include:

• Requires active, unsanctioned license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Ohio


• Requires achievement of specialized training related to role within six months of entering into position, preferably certification
