The holidays are quickly approaching and with the excitement, our Morris Plains, NJ Uncle Giuseppe's Store is seeking SEASONAL Part-Time Baristas!Bring your cheerful, customer service and teamwork attitude to our coffee bar. Excellent communication skills and cash register experience are required! This seasonal position will run from early November to the first week of January 2025 and offers a salary of $21.05/hour. Since this is a Seasonal position, there are no company benefits associated with this temporary job.

Our Baristas are responsible for making and serving beverages to customers at our Espresso and Coffee bars.

Responsibilities
Greeting customers in a friendly manner and taking food and drink ordersPreparing and serving beverages, ranging from simple to elaborate onesAnswering customers questions about menu choicesPromoting and recommending menu options to customersTaking payment from customersMaintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and scheduling repairsKeeping the work environment sanitary and organizedEvaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of serviceWorking to attract new customers and expanding the menuOther duties and functions as assigned
Requirements
HS Diploma or equivalent18 years or olderListen well and communicate in a professional and friendly mannerFocus on customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer servicePractice basic safety procedures with respect to equipment and handling hot beveragesMust be efficient and organizedBuild good relationships with customersMaintain a clean work environmentMust be able to speak, read and understand the English language
