Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in a materials coordinator role.
Knowledge of best practices in inventory management.
Ability to interpret supply chain reports.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Communication skills, both written and oral.
Analyze and interpret data.
Problem solving skills.
Auto Delivery, Expediting, Assembly Line, Supply Chain Experience, Forklift Experience, Compliance, Procurement, Detail Oriented, Documentation, Vendor Management, and SAP are also important skills.
Master Material Maintenance and Inventory Accuracy experience.
SAP experience required.
Responsible for managing yearly physical inventory.
Manages best cost practices for purchasing material.
Responsible for regrind organization, weekly inventories, and implements systems to maintain organization
Implements & develops Kan-Ban systems
Responsible for daily raw material cycle counts
Responsible for daily finished goods cycle counts
Assists with all semi-annual physical inventories
Responsible for purchasing raw materials and maintaining low inventory levels without running out of materials
Creates PO / STO requisitions and deals with vendor related issues
Works with corporate purchasing for costs saving opportunities
Investigates raw material variances, while working with production, and warehousing teams
Assist in storing raw materials as needed
Performs checks on colorant let downs to ensure BOMs are being adhered too
Creates and sets up all SKUs, Routings, BOMs, and costs them in SAP
Determine safety stock levels on raw materials as needed and manages those levels in SAP
Assists with keeping all raw materials in a controlled, clean and organized environment.
Provides back-up support for other logistic positions in the department when individuals are out of the office
