Description: Judge Healthcare is seeking Hematology/Oncology RN's for a position in Durham, NC with one of our biggest clients! New graduates are accepted!
Contract Duration: October 1, 2024 - September 30, 2025 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. No weekends or holidays!
Responsibilities:
Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed.
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Collaborate with oncologists, hematologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Manage side effects and complications of treatment.
Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Assist in the development of individualized care plans.
Participate in clinical trials and research studies.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.
Coordinate with other healthcare providers for comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients on disease prevention and health maintenance.
Administer blood transfusions and other treatments as needed.
Qualifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license in NC
Associates degree or higher in nursing
