Job Description:
Logistician (O'Fallon, MO), Duties incl: Plan, manage & eval logistics Operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transport co's, & customers. 30%. Manage a product's life cycle from dsgn to disposal. 20%. Collab w/other depts as necessary to meet customer reqmnts, take advantage of sales oppty's or, in the case of shortages, to minimize negative impacts on a biz in the case of shortages.
Redsgn the movement of goods to maximize value & reduce costs. 20%. Direct team activities, estab task priorities, schedule, & track work assignments, provide guidance, & ensure the availability of resources. 10%. Maint & dvlp positive biz relationships w/customer's key personnel involved in or directly relevant to logistics activities. 10%. Present performance data to the manager. 5%. Understand clients' needs & how to meet them. 5%. A Bach's deg in Biz Admin, Logistics Mgmt or reltd is req'd. Sal $55,162/Yr.
