Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive mid-Level Developer with a solid foundation in environment orchestration. This role involves working with technologies such as Git, containerization (e.g., Docker), terminal operations, and Java, while taking a more autonomous role in the development and maintenance of modern software environments. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in software development, environment orchestration, and a willingness to lead tasks and mentor junior team members in a collaborative environment.



Job Description:



**Key Responsibilities:**


- Independently develop and optimize environment orchestration solutions, while contributing to the strategic direction of orchestration initiatives.- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues related to software environments, deployments, and containerized applications.- Manage source code using Git, including performing pull requests, branch management, and conducting code reviews for junior developers.- Implement and maintain containerization strategies using Docker, with a focus on building, deploying, and maintaining robust containerized environments.- Develop and maintain YAML configurations for orchestration tasks, ensuring adherence to best practices and optimization standards.- Conduct API testing and development using tools like Curl/Postman, while automating key parts of the process where applicable.- Manage Linux system administration tasks, including scripting, system performance monitoring, and security considerations.- Take ownership of quality engineering and testing efforts, utilizing TestNG or similar tools to ensure software reliability.- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, driving automation of deployment processes using Jenkins or similar tools.- Mentor junior developers and assist in their growth within the team by sharing knowledge and best practices.


**Must-Have Skills:**


- Proficient in Git and source code management, with experience leading version control tasks.- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization concepts, including deployment and troubleshooting.- Strong knowledge of software development, with practical experience in Java or another programming language.- Proficiency in API development, testing, and automation.- Competency in Linux system administration, with experience in scripting and performance tuning.


**Preferred Skills:**


- Experience with cloud computing technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).- Solid experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and automation processes.- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to lead and mentor in a fast-paced technical environment.


**Qualifications:**


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 2-4 years of relevant experience in software development and environment orchestration.- Excellent communication skills and experience working collaboratively in a team.- Strong interest and experience in automation, containerization, and environment orchestration.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is
$60900 to $147400
