We are seeking a full-time Corporate Recruiter 1 in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of non-exempt and exempt recruitment for assigned departments.
Essential Functions
Recruit, screen and interview for assigned positions including reviewing candidate applications and resumes, for relevant skills, experience and education
Gain knowledge of assigned position skillsets by partnering with stakeholders to recruit top talent
Provide complete, accurate and inspiring information to candidates about the company, its culture, specific job opportunities, benefits and career path
Leverage networking, advertisement and recruitment sources to generate interested candidates and partner with senior members of team to learn how to investigate new sources
Develop/build relationships with stakeholders and work proactively to recruit/hire top notch candidates, ensuring an exemplary customer service experience for all and achieving annual hiring goals
Learn about importance of data integrity by ensuring accurate, complete and thorough documentation and tracking for each candidate in Garmin's Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Learn and apply expectations for ensuring a quality workforce by achieving annual retention goals
Participate in annual creation of a strategic sourcing plan for assigned business segment(s)
Able to source candidates within ATS, Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) and outside tools and able to build strong networking relationships
Perform administrative duties such as filing, creating reports, forms and letters, and other administrative tasks
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or Communications
Must possess proven experience dealing with confidential Human Resources matters
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams
Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Must be positive, detail oriented, team oriented and a multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize and work proactively/effectively in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision and demonstrated ability to create/build relationships
Must be willing to travel (up to 25% of time)
Desired Qualifications
Previous HR experience including recruiting
Experience creating and conducting presentations
Experience working with applicant tracking systems
